From left to right: Googdia Black Halterneck Evening Dress, Dabuwawa White Casual Romper, BQueen Off-Shoulder Evening Dress

With so many things to look forward to in the upcoming months through the seasons of Autumn and Winter, I think it's safe to say that the party season of fashion is finally upon us.

Not only do I turn 23 this month (and seriously need to find something to wear for the celebration), we have all the seasonal parties to look forward to including Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving (for all my American readers!).

Luckily for us, StyleWe, an online retailer specialising in designer brands, offers a fantastic range of designer pieces and outfits to choose from at unbeatable prices: right now, from the 23rd to the 26th of October, they're offering an extra 15-50% off on the 'brands they love'. With the Flash Sale and free express shipping when you spend over $200, you're really spoilt for choice and no longer need to worry about rummaging through your wardrobe last-minute, desperately trying to find something to wear for that glam party.

You can browse through their fashion evening dresses and Thanksgiving Day outfits here, and download the StyleWe app for easier shopping at your fingertips (and get 20% off your first order!).

Hi  friends!

I had the idea of starting a new series on my blog today - let's call it, 'Monthly Favourites'. Every month I'm going to try my very best to upload a post showing off a few items that I've either purchased that month (I can't save money for shite, we all know this!) or revisiting things I already have and still adore.

I hope you all enjoy reading them as much as I've enjoyed making the first - I suppose this will encourage me to keep my blog updated with fresh content! Let's get cracking.

Hi  guys! Today I'd like to feature a guest post written by the lovely Zara Lewis from HighStylLife. I had the option of choosing which article of hers I would like to publish on my blog and I went along with the body self-confidence tips as I'm sure we all struggle with insecurities from time to time, and it's important to reflect on that and make the appropiate steps: whether it be by changing your way of thinking or simply taking the time to replenish your body and look after your health. Enjoy! x

Personality Match: Putting My Relationships to the Ultimate Test!

Monday, 18 July 2016

Hey guys!

Today I have another exciting review for you all, featuring the brand new Apple Store and Android Play Store app 'Personality Match' - built by the creative minds at PersonalityPerfect.

This app basically allows you to find out just how well you actually get along with the people in your life: be it friends, co-workers, even current partners. It works by firstly getting you to take your own customised personality test, where you answer a series of questions in regards to your personality and lifestyle - and then provides you with an in-depth analysis of your personality type, your strengths and weaknesses, and more.

You then have the option of matching your results with your friends once they've also taken the test, and allows you to look at the areas in which your relationship thrives.. and which areas could be worked on!

As a previous psychology student already quite familiar with certain personality types and very interested in learning more about myself and others, I decided to take a look at the app for myself and see what it had to say about me (as well as my friendships and relationships).

Finding a great mascara can be exhausting.

There are so many things to consider before splashing out on one and we all have different preferences: volume/thickness, curl, colour, length. For me personally, I like a mascara to be extremely black (as my eyelashes are very light brown and almost invisible without mascara) thick, and lengthening.

I've tried many different mascara's throughout the years, most of the time at drugstore prices - think Maybelline, Rimmel London, etc. Come to think of it, the only time I've ever tried a 'high market' mascara was a free Benefit 'They're Real!' one included with a magazine (I also did a review for this one if you're interested!) and So Susan's Featherlash I received as part of a BirchBox subscription.

At the moment, however, my current love is another Benefit beauty staple, 'Roller Lash'. I think this one's been around for a while, perhaps even before the birth of 'They're Real!'. But after reading positive reviews of Roller Lash on the Feel Unique website, I realised it is a classic for a reason.

Thursday, 14 April 2016

Hello my lovelies! How are we all on this fine Thursday afternoon?

First and foremost, I would like to begin this post with a brief update of what I've been up to over the past two months (ish). If you're a bit struck for time, feel free to skip straight to the review down below :-).

I'm Sorry, Does My Beauty Threaten You?

Monday, 1 February 2016

Picture this:

You're walking down the street and suddenly you're stopped dead in your tracks as a dazzling ray of beauty enters your vision.

She's everything that the magazine covers look like. She's the epitome of everything you want to be. Tall, skinny, blonde hair. Maybe she's curvy with great boobs and a fabulous mocha tan. And she definitely squats.

Whatever your personal preference, or idea of beauty might be, we've all experienced the feeling of all-consuming envy when you see another person who appears to be 'perfect' and has it all.
